Training After a Health Crisis

A gentle, guided return to movement — with a trainer who understands complex health histories and knows how to keep you safe while rebuilding your strength.

When your body changes the rules

A health crisis doesn't just affect your body. It changes how you feel about moving, about trusting yourself, and about what's possible.

Cancer Recovery

After treatment, your body needs careful, progressive rebuilding. Fatigue, neuropathy, and range of motion loss all require individualized attention.

Cardiac Events

Returning to exercise after a heart attack or cardiac procedure feels frightening. You need a trainer who understands cardiac precautions and monitoring.

Chronic Illness

Autoimmune conditions, fibromyalgia, MS, lupus — your energy and capacity vary day to day. Your training needs to adapt with you, not punish you.

Major Surgery

Hysterectomy, mastectomy, organ transplant, joint replacement — your body has been through something significant. Recovery requires knowledge, patience, and a plan.

Why Emerge is different

Most trainers don't know how to work with complex health histories. Roz does.

Your History Informs Everything

Before your first session, we'll learn about your diagnosis, treatments, medications, and current limitations. Your program is built around your reality — not a template.

Day-to-Day Flexibility

Bad days happen. Fatigue flares. Pain spikes. We adjust every session in real time based on how you feel that day — without guilt, without judgment.

4:1 Small Group Ratio

With no more than 4 women per session, each on her own program, you get the personal attention that complex health needs require.

What a session looks like for you

Gentle. Guided. Completely yours.

1

Check-in

We start by asking how you're feeling today — energy level, pain, sleep, stress. This shapes your entire session.

2

Gentle warm-up & modified training

Your individualized workout uses TRX and BOSU equipment scaled to your current capacity. Every exercise can be adjusted on the spot.

3

Guided stretching & recovery

25 minutes of dedicated flexibility work. For many women with complex health histories, this is the most therapeutic part of the session.

You don't have to explain yourself twice

If you'd like to share your health history and goals before your first visit, we'll review everything so you can walk in knowing we already understand your situation.

No phone tag. No repeating your story to someone who doesn't get it. Just a private form where you can share as much or as little as you'd like — and a trainer who reads every word.

Your body has been through a lot. It deserves thoughtful training.
